Is Cheilectomy a Good Long Term Solution for Treatment of Hallux Rigidus?

Hallux rigidus is a painful deformity of the foot that can be well managed with conservative and surgical options. First metatarsophalangeal joint cheilectomy has shown good to excellent results in pain relief and function. This study aims to determine  long-term functional results and survivorship of cheilectomy for treatment of hallux rigidus.
